I don't know where you are
I don't know where you are in the valley, but we love The Arizona Museum of Natural History and The Arizona Children's Museum in Mesa. I think most kids really enjoy dinosaurs and at the children's museum, they have a place called Artville that is just for kids 4 and under with all kinds of cute vignettes. Try the Great Arizona Puppet Theatre in Phx. That's really fun too!
Out of Africa is so much
Out of Africa is so much fun! We went on Memorial Day and got to see a three day old baby zebra. My boys loved the tiger splash and watching the other animals get fed. Check out their website to see when different shows are playing.
Arizona Museum of Natural History (The Dinosaur Museum) is one of my boy's favorites. Located in downtown Mesa. No charge for parking. www.arizonamuseumofnaturalhistory.org
Just one block down is Arizona Museum for Youth so you can do both in one day if you want. They have a little play area called Artville for children under five to play. www.arizonamuseumforyouth.com
The Arizona Science Center is one of our favorites. Right now they have the Grossology exhibit, which has two places for the kids to slide down. www.azscience.org
