We just had a great weekend at one of the local waterparks!
I was worried that my 3 year son would be too young to enjoy it, but he had a blast!
We started off at Sunsplash at the lazy river. That gave him a taste of the place. Then, we moved on to the toddler splash pool. He had a great time going down the little slides! My 8 month old daughter even had fun sticking her hands in the baby area.
It was our first family time at Golfland too. My son loved it. He didn't really goofy golf right, but he had fun. We went to the bumper bumps and the gym area next. My son would have stayed all day, but I got tired!
I'm even debating a summer pass. We live close enough to one of the water parks that I could go in the morning, take a nap, and then head back.
We'll see.
I'll definitely be heading back!

I can't believe that I've
I can't believe that I've lived here 9 years and have never taken my kids to Sunsplash. This is a great idea. So I take it the water is warm enough at Sunsplash? Our pool water is still absolutely freezing.
Are passes very expensive?
Thanks for the idea!

Waterparks are the best in
Waterparks are the best in the summer. My 3 year old also loves going - last year he was so brave and went down one of the kiddie slides into the pool. Last summer we found that Scottsdale pools have wonderful facilities - it feels like a waterpark in itself. So, we frequent those throughout the summer season. Great fun for the whole family!

The water was great.
It is a little pricey, but if you make a whole day out of it, it's worth it.

Our three kids have loved
Our three kids have loved visiting water parks throughout the years. They have never been big on roller coasters, but bring on the water slides and they are happy campers.
When we were moving to AZ almost two years ago, we made sure and booked a stay at the Arizona Grand Resort and we had a great time at The Oasis Water Park. Since then we have not been to any of the other water parks.
Any suggestions of ones we should visit next?

We have a pool, but my kids
We have a pool, but my kids still love going to Hamilton Aquatic Center in Chandler because it has a few slides and water play areas. Best of all, it costs just 50 cents for kids. I think it's $1.50 for adults.
Several city pools are super cool, like this one, too.

We would love to see any
We would love to see any kind of improvements and additions to the WaterWorld Park in North Phoenix. We have enjoyed it for years, but it never changes and we are bored. Sun Splash and Big Surf have much more to offer but are too far away for us to drive to.
