Yesterday I attending an Earth Day awareness program. On our way out they handed all the children recycled coloring books and these wonderful crayons made of soybeans. They are Prang (Fun Pro) Crayons - non toxic. Today we are coloring and talking about Earth Day. I really like these crayons!

What makes the soybean crayons better? Are regular wax crayons toxic?
Crayons are def not toxic.
Crayons are def not toxic. But I am guessing they have some dirivative of petroleum in them (which we are are learning the hard way is a not-so-renewable and very expensive resource). Thats probably why she is looking for soy crayons. Kinda how soy candles are becoming trendier than wax ones...
