Do you remember Shrinky Dinks? Now they have them so you can use them in the computer printer. I've made two projects - One - all members of my son's Kindergarten class made regular shrinky dink hearts, then I punched holes, shrunk them and attached them to a Shrinky Dink of the Class photo. The teacher loved it. I also did a 40 years in review for a friend and that turned out nice too, beads and wire connected the pieces.
I ordered them from http://www.goestores.com/catalog.aspx?Merchant=shrinkydinks&DeptID=34365 Michael's also has them, but more expensive.
I'm thinking about scanning some of the photo christmas cards I received and putting those on to make ornaments, to give as gifts next year. Yes, all these projects kicked my rear and the house got neglected while I worked on them, but they were really well received and it was fun...
