For the last year we have enrolled our daughter into the City of Glendale Tiny Tots Dance class once a week. It has been great and just perfect for her age!
Unfortuantely, for the summer, they are not offering a similar class, plus of of the classes they are offering it is not best for our schedule and the classes are not in the usual facility near us. She really looks forward to her weekly dance class and I'd like to keep her in dance since she is enjoying it so much. There are a ton of dance studios in our area, but I'm not sure which one to choose.
My daughter will be 3 next month, so I'm not looking for an expensive, competitive dance studio. Just something that she would enjoy. We live in northwest Peoria off of the Loop 101, but I know there are several studios in Glendale near the Arrowhead area.
Can anyone recommend a dance studio that they have enjoyed?

I'm not sure where you live,
I'm not sure where you live, but the cities out here have a lot of cool programs for kids during the summers. Check out city of peoria, or I'm not sure if you are close to other cities or work near other cities so it would be ok to enroll her there, but check it out or let me know which city you live near or work near and I can try to find the website for it. They are usually very inexpensive. Let me know. I have nothing better to do right now honestly.

I'm pretty sure the city of
I'm pretty sure the city of Peoria outsources the dance lessons they offer through Marilyns Academy of dance which is at 75th Ave/Cactus Road. My daughter has attended this studio going on 3 years (since right before she turned 3) and she loves it as well as I'm very satisfied with it. They don't pressure competition at all, at least for the younger kids ... I don't know what the protocol is for the older kids, however it's a family owned studio that's been in business for 18 years, it's very casual, relaxed and laid back. I would highly recommend checking them out. I've never been pressured about competition at all, it's never even been mentioned to me. They have a recital once a year and the kids can either participate or not, but even if you decide not to they don't pressure you to change your mind or anything. The dance teachers are great too .. family and others that have been around for a lonnnng time!!
