Need East Valley Dance Studo

Well, it is in Tempe on Warner and McClintock. Tempe Dance Academy, Talent Factory and Home to the Christian Dance Company. After seeing some of the other studios out there, this one is good about not dressing them like tarts for their recitals or competitions. The let little girls be little girls. They are also good about teaching the right way to do dance steps instead of just moving around.

Miss Wendy is great with the little ones. They have a class for them that is 20 min ballet, 20 min tap and 20 min acro (tumbling). Hope this is close for you.

I would recommend attending a few recitals, they are all coming up in the next few weeks. It gives you a good idea what the different schools are like. I live in Mesa and went to recitals at Jeanne's School of Dance, Dance Connection Too, and Campbell's. We ended up going with Jeanne's because it's the closest to my house, but my 3-year-old daughter enjoyed it. She took Beginning Combo (ballet, tap & tumbling(and has her first recital this month).

Try the Y first. If you are a member, they offer free dance classes for little ones. That way you don't spend tons to find out if she likes it. They do recitals, too. I think if you aren't a member, the class is $20 for 6 or 8 weeks. They learn basics, and the instructors we've had have been patient.
