My son had pretty big parties (or big to us, about 10 kids) when he turned 5 and 6. He's already talking about his birthday in July and we want to cut down the cost and planning time. We're thinking about telling him to chose one or two friends and pick his own activity with a meal? We'd also have our regular family party for him and his brother (both birthdays are in July).
Just wondering how anyone else has handled going from a "party'' to an outting with a friend or two. Thanks.
