I would like to know if any of you have had your child's birthday party here?
There is a very nice, new location in Gilbert - more family oriented, not your typical seedy bowling alley - I am thinking of having my son's 9th birthday party there. He likes to bowl - we go from time to time.
I'm curious about any of your experiences with parties there - the new Gilbert location in particular.

I was thinking of renting that GameTruck thing, but I don't think this is the right age for it...maybe when they are a little older. Some of the parents in his class are very restrictive about video games so I wasn't sure how that would go over.

Thanks!

My husband bowled there with some friends and said it was awesome...really clean and lots to do. If you do one there, let us know how it goes.

We had my 9 year old birthday here and it was fun. We did two hours of bowling and pizza. It was clean and the employees were all very helpful.

We always have a blast when we go.....even though the boys aren't too happy when I win a game......who would have thought lil' ol mom is actually a really good bowler! lol

Great party idea... We've been to this bowling alley a couple times and do like it, especially the food. But, we decided to go against having our son's 6th bday party there and go with the brunswick lanes in mesa. We did that because it was smaller and more intimate and most importantly the arcade area was not the focus (like it could be at the gilbert lanes - its huge). Six year olds are totally into those arcade games and it wasn't in our budget to go beyond the couple tokens that were included in the bday package. They still got to play a few good arcade games in mesa but the bowling was the focus.

The only drawback was that most of the guests had to drive far, from Gilbert.

Game Truck was an awesome birthday party! My 8 year-old daughter (as well as our 2 younger daughters and both of us parents) went to a birthday party for a 9 year-old boy that used Game Truck. All the kids had a blast. The guy working inside the truck was super accomodating with parent requests for non-violence games. All the kids had a blast!

I haven't actually held a birthday party myself there, but I have attended one there. It went really well and my girls had a lot of fun. They gave the birthday girl a bowling pin and and all of her friends were able to sign it. I thought that was such a cool party souvenier!
