Do your kids sit down for baseball games? When I take my seven year old I think perhaps she watches five minutes of the game. Is this common? Solutions?

I took my 2 year old
I took my 2 year old daughter to the d-back game this past weekend and she sat. She also went walking around the ball park with my niece who was visiting. My daughter did very well. we took to other baseball games to see the Angels in California. She did very well there. It just depends on the child. try taking her around the ball park.
I, quite honestly, don't
I, quite honestly, don't have the patience to take my kids to baseball games anymore. They can't sit still. And should I blame them? At ages 5 & 7 they don't really have any idea of what's going on and they get bored. (My older son, who's 11 is a different story). My husband took the two younger ones to a game recently and came home saying he'd never take them to a game again. They lasted one inning & then spent the rest of the time throwing popcorn at each other and asking when it was time to go home. Not my (or his) idea of a fun afternoon with the kids!
OK, so what's the solution? My kids just aren't into baseball. I can't blame them because I'm not either - although I do enjoy attending a game once in a while. They don't play the sport & we rarely watch the games on t.v. I think we just need to wait until they're a little older (like my 11 year old) and have enough understanding of the game to be able to enjoy it.

I have an 11-year-old who
I have an 11-year-old who plays little league and finds it hard to concentrate on a three-hour plus game. It is not uncommon. They are kids and even though they may like baseball, they haven't had the time invested to become real fans of the game yet. Give it time - either kids will become fans of the game or they won't.
sure, fine, whatever
My son will watch for about
My son will watch for about an hour, depending on how good the snacks are!

We are huge D-Backs fans,
We are huge D-Backs fans, and have season tix. We take our 4 and 7 year old boys to a few games a season. They love b-ball and sit through the games. We bring small toys for our 4yo (like plastic army men), and we take lots of walks and breaks. Chase Field has a great kids club and play area that's good for burning off some energy. Be prepared to buy or bring in some snacks - a bucket of popcorn can keep them still for a long time.
We have gone to the club
We have gone to the club house and my daughter loves it. Now she pays more attention to the game.
