A friend of mine did that
A friend of mine did that program in Phx a few years ago and loved it. Our son went with him one day for fun and it was great - encouraging coach, relaxed atmosphere and the kids all had smiles on their faces.

It's a soccer program for toddlers/kids age 18 months and up. It's more recreational (not competitive). They have them grouped by age. It sounds really fun! I mean, obviously they're not going to "get" the concept this young, but it's still beneficial to them.
Not sure if the teachers/coaches at Kicks for Kids is paid, but I also wanted to add that at SoccerTots, they are actually paid an hourly wage, so I would think it would give them a little more accountability.
We can't wait to start!! We're trying to get DD's little BFF at daycare to do it, too!
We did the "kicks for kids"
We did the "kicks for kids" through the Peoria Rec. and it was the worst thing I have ever seen. We tried when our son was 2 and then again at 4. This last coach spent most of his time text messaging or talking on his cell. He had barely any interaction with the kids and the classes were supposed to be an hour long, but he always started 5 to 10 minutes late and would end 10 minutes early. HUGE WASTE OF MONEY!!! The coach when our son was 2 talked about defensive moves and everything else technical. They were 2-4 year olds. Give me a break!
I've heard about the program
I've heard about the program you are noting - but have never been to one. We signed up my son for "Kicks for Kids" through the City of Scottsdale. The classes we attended were actually decent. The only problem was that the soccer class was at a park. My son preferred to go down the slide than play soccer. So, it was a bit difficult having to keep him focused on the soccer practice as he wanted to go play at the playground. So, we only went for a few times and then called it quits.

lisamommy - this program is
lisamommy - this program is indoors only, and you select the location of your choice, which will be the same location you go to throughout the season. I can totally see DD wanting to be at the park instead of practicing if it were at at a park, so I'm really glad it's indoors.
I'm really surprised to see that more people haven't had their kids in this program. It's hard to find anything that caters to the under 5 crowd in the valley, so we were happy to find this.
