Our son wants to go swimming so badly and even though I've explained we can't use our pool until summer, he still keeps asking. Does anyone of any public indoor swimming pools in the area? We live in north central Phoenix but I'm willing to drive out a bit.

The YMCAs have heated pools. Not INDOOR but water is warm. Perfect time to sign up for group lessons too. Few people do so you end up with private or near private lessons.

If you are interested in
If you are interested in swim lessons check into Hubbard Swim School. I have taken my son there as a toddler, but I cannot recall up to what age they teach lessons. They have an indoor pool if you are looking for lessons also yearround and they are on 32nd st & Thunderbird. Their website is: http://www.hubbardswim.com/
