Tee Ball for Boys.... AND Girls?

I have a son who is almost 4. I have heard some mom's in my son's preschool classroom say they have them signed up in a tee ball program. While I think that is awesome - and moms have noted that the kiddos have no idea what they are doing so it's just a bunch of fun.... What able for girls?? My son is not the most athletic. He'd rather build something or do pretend play with his trains. But my daughter loves going outside and hitting the ball around. And she is great at it. At just barely 3 years old, she hit 7 out of 10 pitches I threw to her.

Does anyone know of a young tee ball type program for girls? I live in central Phoenix.

Thanks, Jorah

The are several programs for little girls tee ball. I live in Mesa so I am not too familiar with what Phoenix has. I included a link to a website that connects you to all little leagues in the state. Just find your area and click the link. I also included a link for city of Phoenix parks and rec, they should have a program. My girls have all played sports from a young age and love it.Or you can ask the other pre-k moms what organization their kids play in. Usually all leagues have a division for boys and girls if it's not co-ed.We play softball and soccer. Good luck.

My kids have played baseball

My kids have played baseball at the YMCA (the Christown Y on Missouri and 17th Ave). I don't know how young they start but their teams are co-ed. We've always been happy with the sports programs there.

try the city of phoenix website. i use to take my daughter fo t-ball at age 3. it was so cute, just pick the close park and see what's available. now these "seasons" run in the spring and fall so you won't find anything in the summer. the cost is $20.00 and there's about 8 games on saturdays. now if your looking for something more serious then i suggest you look into the little leagues. good luck

All of the city programs are

All I can say is why??? T-Ball is death!! None of my kids liked it because there just isn't enough action like soccer or basketball. My kids are kind of on the attention deficit side though
