The chair lift on the peaks
The chair lift on the peaks are open. That is always really fun and it is such an amazing sight!! I have lived there for many years and i am still in amazement when i go!
Thank you. I wouldn't have
Thank you. I wouldn't have thought of that at this time of year:)

I think we're gonna take the kids up to Snowbowl to ride the chair lift in late July. Does it cost anything and is there a security bar to bring down to keep the kids from flipping out?
I bet the view is amazing! I would love to hike down, do you know the distance and do you think a 6yr could do it?

If your kiddos like to be up
If your kiddos like to be up close and personal with the trains that go right through town every half hour or so than they would probably enjoy lunch on the patio at Altitudes restaurant. It is right off of the main drag through town, on (inappropriate term) street. They have a kids menu as well and the kiddo entrees come on a frisbee that they get to keep.
(928) 214-8218 - 2 S (inappropriate term) St, #200, Flagstaff, AZ
As far as the adult food is concerned, I would recomend the Pasta or the Pulled Pork Sandwich. Stay far away from the Hummus or Spinach Dip appetizers. Their fries are super yummy, very crispy, shoestring type.
Enjoy the cool weather!

OMG...It wont let me tell
OMG...It wont let me tell you what street it is on! Hillarious.
Ok, I will try it this way: B*E*A*V*E*R street.

Sad that on a "moms" site
Sad that on a "moms" site the name of animal would be interpreted as a derogatory term(and censored) for a woman's vagina. I don't know that any mom here would call her genitalia by that term....guess I could be wrong! LOL
That is too funny! I used a
That is too funny! I used a different word for poo and no not the s word and it wouldnt allow it either!
Lowell Observatory is sort
Lowell Observatory is sort of cool. Though, if you need a nice place to stay overnight we/our kids like the comfort inn. Its cheap/clean and has a free bfast (w/waffles, bagels/muffins, yogurt/fruit etc.) They have a pretty area with a fireplace, rocking chairs, large windows to enjoy your bfast. They also have an outdoor (very small) pool, though we've never used it. We normally go during the cooler months. We love Flagstaff. Have fun.
For your next trip I would
For your next trip I would recommmend the Lava Tubes. They are very cool and both kids and adults love them.
