Has anyone been to Legoland? We will be in San Diego in June and was wondering if there will be stuff to do for all my kids. They are 6, 4 and almost 2. I went to there website and it seems like a lof of fun, but a friend told me they had a hard time finding stuff for their 2 year old to do.

My friend who lives in San Diego, just took her two girls there - ages 2 and almost 4. She said it was great. That they had a wonderful time and there was a lot to do.

I would have to agree with your friend. I don't think there is much for a 2 yr old at Legoland.

I have heard that it is a waste of time there isn't much to do for younger kids. My 4 and 7 year olds just went to Disneyland and California Adventures and had a blast.

We used to live in South Orange County and we used to take out kids to Legoland like 4 times a year. At the time they were 4, 2 and newborn up until they were 8, 6 and 4. They loved it every time we went. There are lots of things for kids of all ages!! There is a little water park, sit and ride on toys, some are made of Legos. We never had a bad experinece there. If you go, be sure to check with Burger King or Carls Jr restaurants for discount coupons. Have fun!!

We visited with a 2 year old

We visited with a 2 year old and a 6 year old, and they both had a great time, though their dad and I were a little bored. The rides aren't as exciting as some of the other parks in Southern Cal. I also felt it was very pricey for one day's worth of fun. But, my oldest still talks about it and wants to go back, so if your kids are especially fond of Legos, they will probably have a great time. I think there is plenty for a little one, like the water playground and some easy-going boat and train rides (the kind I wanted to take a nap on!) Have fun!

I took my son when he was seven...and he had a blast! The park is geared for younger children...although they did have a side for older.I think even your two year old would have a good time.I don't feel it was a waste of time at all....
The lines weren't so long, so my son was able to do more and since he isn't so patient at times it worked out well.Have fun!

We went there for during Christmas break. I would say that 4+ is a good place to start. The park's website has a list of their rides and the height requirements. That's the best tool I found in deciding whether or not it was worth the trip. If your child is only tall enough for a limited number of rides, then yes, the trip is not very entertaining. Our youngest is a big fan of Legos, so the trip is something that he still talks about to this day, particularly since he was able to ride on most any ride he wanted.

Costco sells discount tickets to Legoland.

We just took our son to

We just took our son to Legoland for his 2nd birthday on Friday. He had a good time looking at stuff, but there aren't really any rides he could go on. We were also hoping for stuff he could climb on, but no such luck. You're older kids, however, will probably have a good time.

I will say that he did enjoy the birthday cake we ordered for him, so it wasn't a total loss.
