Is it just me, or does it bug anyone when they are in line at a grocery store, that the person behind them is crowding them. Sometimes when I am at the grocery store it feels like the person behind me is pushing me forward trying to get me to run my card faster or something. I just want to turn around and ask them if they insist on standing on top of me, maybe they would like to buy my groceries too. I always try to give people their space when they are checking out. Does anyone else feel like this is a invasion of privacy? I have started to try to keep my cart behind me so that I can keep people back, but that does not always work if you are at a store like Bashas where the cart goes behind the checker. Its just wierd!!! I always smile at the person, but inside I want to just burst.

I totally dislike that, too. Sometimes my kids start crowding up the line and I pull them back. I just find it rude to get too close.
Similiarly, I dislike it when you are going through the car wash and before you can finish going through the blowers the next car is already going through the wash.

It isn't just you - that totally drives me nuts. I find it quite rude.
I have had people crowd so close to me in line that they actually bumped me before....and if you say something they act like YOU are the rude one. Sheesh!
I always pull my son back if I think he's too close to someone, too.

I'm a total "my personal space" freak. I even get weird when my kids and husband are too close for too long lol...When I go to stores and such I makes sure that my kids and I leave plenty of space between shoppers and I get totally freaked about the people who are rightbehindus so I make sure I hold back a little to ensure more space.
