hi moms, my daughter was at the park yesterday for most of the day for a b-day party for one of her cousins, dad was watching her as i had to work, well this morning she woke up complaining of pain in her leg, turns out her knee was swollen looks like a mosquito bite but it felt warm to the touch, and red, she also has another one on her foot that's pretty much swollen too and she says it hurts i gave her benadryl and put calamine lotion on it, i don't know if there is a home remedy i can try so she is more comfortable, my little princess is 2 1/2. do you suggest anything else? to make her feel better?

Sounds like a spider bite to
Sounds like a spider bite to me. I would really keep an eye on it and call her doctor if it seems to get worse or she develops any other symptoms. Some spider bites can be dangerous. Try putting a cool compress on it and giving her some tylenol for the pain.
Calamine is good, but if
Calamine is good, but if that's not doing it, try a paste of baking soda and water. It's messy, but effective.
thanks mommies, she doesn't

Not that it really matters
Not that it really matters at this point, but it kind of sounded like an ant bite. One of my kids is allergic to ant bites, so they really swell up and become painful. I have to keep an eye out at the park, etc., so she doesn't accidentally get into an ant pile.

ya, those ant bites can be nasty. I thought it might be a spider bite too, but I don't think they tend to bote twice.
My daughter is allergic to
My daughter is allergic to mosquito bites. They get rather large and warm. I have used the topical Benedryl stick and that seems to work.
