I just got back from visiting my niece and nephew in Louisiana for an early Christmas. This story makes me want to go back and hug them even more. It's a tragic story that reminds me how tough single moms -- like my sister -- and dads have it. That poor family. Your heart aches with having to deal with a tragedy as well as a miracle simultaneously. Having a single child, with two parents present, is enormously hard work. Having three infants while simultaneously losing your partner -- it's unbearable. Let's hope the support of other family members, church and community will unite to help those three little boys mature into young men who'll recognize the love being sent their way.
