You know I have a 3 year old
You know I have a 3 year old and she goes to a wonderful babysitter (daycare provider). Debbie 623-872-8526. My daughter has done so well there it's like extended family in a way. I used to volunteer in a Kinder class as an aide and I did a lot of the testing. My daugher can already do many of the things that most of the kinder kids couldn't. I think her sitter Debbie has so much to be given credit for!!
Keep in mind she is 3.
Knows her colors (not just the basic ones either)
Alphabet
Cuts with scissors
Sings
Colors and stay within the lines
Loves books
etc, etc
They go the library, pizza, field trips, splash parks, museums.
she has a large family and when they are home they all get involved with the kids. She has tons of learning toys. Can you tell I love her! I am so glad I found her.
Cindy

I would be interested in contacting Debbie...Do you think that would be ok?
Thanks!
Arizona State University's
Arizona State University's West Campus (51st Ave/Thunderbird Road) has a preschool on campus through it's Child Development Center. My daughter attended last year and is attending this year as well. This is an EXCELLENT program, a bit pricey, but well worth every penny!! This program is SO much different from all of the "so called" preschools that are out there and heavily advertised, but really are just daycare facilities. This program is NAEYC accredited, which is a VERY important thing to look for when researching preschools, and something you will find very few have in the valley. This stands for National Association of The Education of Young Children. It's a very tideious and involved process that a center has to go through to earn this accreditation. Not only do they have this accreditation, but they also have a ciriculum they follow, they are very structured, very organized, class sizes are kept to a minimum, and the lead teachers are required to have a bachelors degree. Associate teachers are required to have an associates degree as well. It's nice to know that the people teaching your children are well educated themselves and aren't just hired to fill the babysitting role. There are parent/teacher conferences twice a year, field trips, breakfast, lunch, and snacks are provided (in the price), and overall it's just a WONDERFUL place where learning is constantly encouraged. I cannot recommend this school enough, it's absolutely fantastic and worth the price they charge. Their telephone number if interested in receiving more information is 602-543-5437 and the web address with some information is

Our nanny started a preschool/daycare with her sister. They are fantastic women. My children love going to Angela and Christy's! They offer a great day. We feel so blessed to have our children in their care. They are located off of 75th Avenue and Deer Valley in Peoria. Their website is:

I quit teaching after being
I quit teaching after being in the public school system for 7 years. I completed a master's degree in education and wanted to continue teaching children so I also started a preschool this year. I currently have 8 students in a Tues-Thurs class, but am wanted to start another class of 7 on Mon-Wed. I charge $100 a month. I am in Mesa if there is any interest for a preschool for your child in the East Valley.
I can't speak highly enough
I can't speak highly enough of my daughter's Montessori Preschool in Ahwatukee http://www.montessori-educare.com/
We looked at numerous preschools and just felt a great vibe at this one. The teachers are all wonderful, loving individuals and virtually all the kids coming out of the school are way ahead of their peers, academically and emotionally. My daughters both started reading and writing at age 3 and continue to amaze us with the knowledge base they've acquired at such a young age. Most importantly, as a working mom I have a peace of mind that they are well cared for and happy while I'm not with them!
