Apparently someone dumped off 2 little ones - one in just a T-shirt and diaper - at 4 a.m. today, the air still very cold (the temp dipped into the 40s overnight). They were discovered at 5:30 a.m. by a garbage collector. The surveillance camera at a strip club at 7th and Virginia avenues caught a unidentified driver in a white sedan leaving them by a trash bin.

I just wish the person who dropped off the kids had had the heart to at least leave them where they would be quickly found - a hospital, firestation, even a convenience store. It was very lucky for those children that the owner of the business came to work so early. At least now they are safe.

I agree with Karina. It
I agree with Karina. It makes me think that the person who dropped them didn't really want them to be found. This just broke my heart when I opened the paper this morning. I wonder what will happen to the kids.

something very odd about
something very odd about this story...aside from the obvious horror of it, they know who the mom is but haven't named her, nor have they indicated she's definitely involved in this incident....if she were the one who actually did it you'd think she would have been arrested by now......it seems to me it may be the boyfreind/girlfreind of one of the parents, or some other unrelated caregiver who didn't want to be burdened with these poor little babies and cruelly dumped them off.
Another thought that occurred to me is that this was done by someone threatening one of the parents and trying to send a message...putting the babies out by the trash. Who knows how they got posesion of the kids......in any case it is sad and whoever is responsible should be punished.
It is shameful. There are so
It is shameful. There are so many families desperately wanting to adopt a child and then you see stuff like this. Sickening.
