My 7 month old baby is strike. I don't know what to do. She decided last week that the bottle was the most disgusting thing she's ever seen. If we bring it around her she sticks her nose up in the air! She's had a bottle since she was 2 months old. I've always nursed, but I introduced the bottle when I went back to work part time. She's been drinking formula since about 3 months (while I'm away she usually has a BM bottle and a Formula bottle).
I thought it was something that would just last a day or two. But, it's been a week! I'm down to nursing in the morning and night. Yesterday, that was about all the liquid she would eat. She had maybe 3 oz of formula.
Has anyone ever had this problem? It's driving me crazy. I think I may call the doc! Okay, I admit it, I'm leaving a message now!

Try a sippy cup! My youngest
Try a sippy cup! My youngest would *never* take a bottle. We went through many, many sippy cups, but finally found a couple brands he liked. Maybe start with the smaller ones that have handles she can hold easily and softer mouthpieces that are more like nipples. Also, she may be ready for more solids. Definitely a good time to ask the doc what he/she recommends!

Definitely try the sippy
Definitely try the sippy cup. You or your care provider can still hold her and have her nurse the sippy cup and give her that comforting time as you would with a bottle. Or perhaps change up your bottle. We went through MANY bottles with both my son and daughter before we found they one that they preferred. Both really preferred the Playtex Nurser.
My daughter from the first day in the hospital flat out refused a bottle. I had always planned to nurse, but we tried to give formula on top of that in the hospital to avoid jaundice. She fought and refused the bottle until about 6 months of age. She went part time to a care provider or was with my mom and on occasion would take a couple of ounces, but it was horrible trying to get her to take it. Finally one day, she gave up the fight and took it. Funny how they choose what they want from such an early age!
But if she is finished with it at 7 months, switching to the sippy shouldn't be a problem.

I tried the two sippys and three bottles. So far, no luck. I just talked with my mom who spends days with her and she's still fighting it. I'm waiting for the doctor! The good news, she's happy and not really fussy. She's just on strike :)

Hopefully you've resolved
Hopefully you've resolved this but I'd try a sippy cup - I liked the Avent cups because they're most like a bottle nipple and an easy transition
