Hi,
My name is Colleen Porter and I am mom and music educator in SE Gilbert. I offer Music Together Classes for parents and all their children ages 0 - 5. Music Together is a global program based on twenty plus years of early childhood music research that gives parents and young children time to share a variety of joyful music experiences to help them gain a natrual awareness of music at a time when their brains are developing and growing at such an amazing rate. You experience different songs in class through fun, but not too structured, activities. The teacher provides direction and sometimes live instruments during class. Parents are expected to participate and model for their children. Then, using their take-home CD song collection and songbook, they do musical activities at home as well. The end goal is a home filled with more music and great times that will surely be treasured memories in years to come, not to mention a child who is not afraid to be musical.

I think these classes are the best! My older son (before starting preschool) started Music Together in the Infant classes all the way to 2 1/2 years old. We enjoyed the classes with Ms. Claudia in Scottsdale - he still loves singing the songs! I encourage everyone in the SE Gilbert area to join this class - its great for the kiddos and fun for mommies (or caregiver) too!
