Parent participating daycare?

olyashu's picture

I've tried to post this message under different subject, but now would like to expand it a little.

I'm looking for a daycare (or however else they call it) that allows parents to participate. I am a stay at home mom who doesn't trust anybody with her baby (20 months now). But I would like her to get more social and involved in different activities.

Does such thing even exist?

Oh, and we are in Gilbert.

Try Gymboree play & music

Try Gymboree play & music classes. It isn't daycare, but it will give you an opportunity for your child to socialize.

There are many different

There are many different options depending on what you'd like to get involved with. There is My Gym or Little Gym (similar to Gymboree), there is KinderMusic or Music Together. These are all parent/child involved types of activities. Or if you are looking to get to also know other parents there is MOPS (mothers of preschoolers) or joining a moms group in your area (maybe neighborhood or with friends.) I hope these ideas help.

Alot of city's offer mommy and me classes. I know that city of chandler offers parent infant music, swim, dance classes. That would be a good start. They are really affordable as well! always a plus!
