sippy cup battles

Catherine's picture

OK am I the only mom who has a battle with the sippy cup to turn the lid off? Sometimes when I go to open my son's sippy cup I can not twist it off!! Sometimes I have to ask my husband to help and he agrees it is on there tight!!! Anyone else feel like they have wimpy arms? Or is it that my son sucks so hard it creates a seal that only He-Man can undo?

Hmmm...I can't relate to that one! My main problem is making sure I get the stopper in right and that I get the lid on straight. Sometimes it looks like the lid is on, then my child takes a drink and it dribbles all down his front!

Hmmm, what brand are you using? I've never had a problem with Gerber or Playtex sippy cups.

Try using Take and Toss. The

Try using Take and Toss. The lids snap on and off, no twisting and no yucky valve. Also, I don't know what kind of plastic your cups are made out of, but of the hard plastic cups are made out of 3,6,7 plastics that are dangerous. Take and Toss are safe. I made that transition when I found out about the bad plastics.
