I am currently looking for a new child care provider for my 11 month old. We are currently in an in home care atmosphere, which I like, but am not thirlled with her current provider. I am not against a center, but the few times I visited them I am a little concerned about that sort of atmoshpere. I am looking for an environment that doesn't have a ton of children, so I know my baby will get plenty of one on one attention and care. Does anyone have any suggestions? Any refferals? I live in Maricopa, but work off the I-10 and University. So possible location would be Chandler, Ahwatukee, Tempe or Phoenix.

I have always preferred home
I have always preferred home setting but recently my in home sitter called me on a Friday at noon to tell me she was starting work that Monday. Ugh. So..my 7 1/2 month old is now at a daycare center and is doing great. I am not happy with the ratio being 11 kids to 2 workers but she hasn't seemed to fall through the cracks. I check her report on diaper changes, naps and feedings. It seems to be going pretty well. Good luck!! She's at Premier in North Phx.
