Childcare for sick kid

jennxaz's picture

Has anyone used Wee Care at John C Lincoln Hospital 101 and I 17? I am a working mom and my son has been sick a lot this year and I am running out of paid time off so I heard about this place from a friend who used it when there kids were little. They will watch sick kids and will also give them any doctor prescribed medicine. I wasn't sure though if it was healthy or just another spot my son will get more sick.

As always, I love your input!

I haven't personally used

I haven't personally used them yet, but I recently checked into it (a couple of months ago). I've heard great things about them! I plan on using it the next time my daughter is sick and I'm unable to take off work. . .

I used them a few years ago.

I used them a few years ago. The staff includes nurses who administer medication according to prescription directions, if requested. At the time I used them, they did not take RSV cases due to the ease of spread of the virus. My kids did great when they went- they did not get more sick. I recommend them if you can't afford to take the time off yourself.

Thanks! I will keep the

I had no idea there was such a service! I could have used it a couple of weeks ago but will definitely keep in for future reference. Thanks for the website, too.
