How do I find "in home" day cares?

Teraysa's picture

I know the larger child cares or "franchise" day cares are listed in the phone book, etc. But how do I find the small family owned type child cares? I tried Child Care Resource and Referral but they only list one for my whole area (Indian School and 103rd Ave) and I know there MUST be more around here. I need one that's fairly close and opens at 6am. If anyone knows of any, I would greatly appreciate your help!
