Hi There! I'm 24 in Scottsdale and I work part time and go to school online full time. My Aunt was recently telling me about Cooperative Day Cares. Where parents volunteer time and then receive discounted rates. I was interested in seeing if I could find any other mother out there who work part time. I work three days a week. My son is 14 months old and I currently take him to work with me two days a week. I clean houses and the people I work for are okay with this... but my son is at a very active age and it's starting to become very difficult. He wants to run off and explore and it's stressful trying to keep track of him.
I was wondering if anyone else has a similar situation needing a break a couple of days or to work a couple of days. With daycare being so expensive it seems like swapping time would be a great situation if you could find someone else with a similar parenting style and situation. Does anyone have any ideas for me??? Or is anyone interested in this idea???
