Congratulations!!! I am 29
Congratulations!!!
I am 29 (I will be 30 next week) and I am in my last semester of my MBA at ASU. I have a 9 month old son that I had during school.
The best advice I can give:
TIME MANAGMENT and DEDICATION- make a schedule and stick to it. You have to balance between work, school and family. I would schedule study time early in the mornings (4:30am- on) until my family would get up. Then I would still have the morning time with them. I would also spend time at night studying (1-2 hours) a night after they were in bed. While at work 2-3 a week I would study on my lunch break. I stayed on top of my studies by spending time everyday studying. But I did not miss my family time.
I hope this helps some!

Thanks for the advise. I
Thanks for the advise. I would really like to meet some other mothers attending school. I did my undergrad at ASU in the College of Business and my husband teaches there. Congratulations on the MBA. I am really excited to start my Masters, I am just a little nervous! Thanks again.

I am turning 41 in a few
I am turning 41 in a few weeks and had gone back to college 5 semesters ago. I have 2 boys at 18 and 16. Going back to college after being out of school for 20+ years was a very scary thing but now that I am there I would do it all over again, I will be graduating from Yavapai College in the spring of 09 with a nursing degree. I just wish I would have done this years ago. It does get easier and you will make some great new friends, I did.
I'm 46, two kids 9 and 13
I'm 46, two kids 9 and 13 been at-home mom for past 11 years. I'm seriously considering going back to school to be a nurse since my job skills from before kids are outdated. It's hard though I feel sooo old and as though I'm starting from all over again from scratch.
i just recently went back to
i just recently went back to school. i'm a mother of seven, oldest being 20 and youngest 10. i am also a grandma of three. i had attended college before, but with me being a single mom it was extremely difficult. i managed but it was hard. now with online classes available, getting your education is easier. still have to make time for the family though. family first. i wouldn't change anything.
