I am wondering if anyone out there has recieved government grants like the ones I see advertised on TV you know where they say the government has money to give away and things like that. I am wanting so bad to go back to school and can't afford to looking for avenues to pay for it other than loans. I am already a struggling single mom but I want to provide my daughter with the things she should have and things I did not have growing up. Any help or advice is appreciated.

There are both government
There are both government and private grants available for continuing education. You can talk to a financial advisor at any college who can give you more info about what's out there.
Good luck, and kudos to you for wanting to do something for both yourself and your daughter!

Hey! If you fill out a fafsa
Hey! If you fill out a fafsa or fasfa (I can never remember which one it is). It's a government application for scholarships and grants. I personally did not qualify for a grant (because I'm not a single mom), but I know a lot of single moms that have qualified for government grants to go to school.

Thank you. Yeah I filled that out already but I am not the most patient person and I stress about money. I recently had to pay start paying for childcare. I cut all the expenses I can right now, am getting a roommate and am still worried it won't be enough. I am an LPN and want to get my RN not just for the financial benefit but also to advance more in my career. Thank you again ladies.

Well it sounds like you are
Well it sounds like you are doing all you really can. Have you tried to see if you qualify for childcare assistance through DES? Child support? We all stress about money but you have your priorities straight and I am sure things will be on the up and up soon.
