I will pray for you, you
I will pray for you, you will be fine. I have taken online courses at Rio and MCC and like Rio's better. They are both MCCC but Rio has an awesome online program. I am starting classes in October. I originally was gearing towards the nursing program years ago but changed my mind after getting my CNA which I don't think is needed now.
Jennifer is a discussion leader for arizonamoms.com and mommy to four beautiful girls who range from 9 to 4 years of age.
I have not taken online
I have not taken online classes at Rio Salado yet, but I will in the fall when I start classes for dental assistant. Please keep us informed on how the online classes went. I am really nervous also as a 38 year old mom starting a new career.
Good for you! I haven't
Good for you! I haven't taken any online classes from Rio, but have taken many from CAC (I live in Pinal County). I'm not working toward a nursing degree, but I have taken several classes that are pre-reqs for the nursing program. I did all my A&P online and it was awsome! Don't be afraid to get your feet wet. Once you get your feet wet with one class - try taking two at a time. Online makes it so much easier! Especially if you are able to take your labs online. But on the other hand, it was helpful to have some hybrid classes (we met once a week for lab - and the lecture was online) where you get to see your instructor face to face.
Good luck! :)
