I just heard the school district I am in pays their teachers significantly less than other school districts. That really bothers me. How will our district ever get good teachers when teacher pay is already so slim? Does anyone know how to go about changing this or why starting pay is not equal valley wide?

Hey Brooke... There is a group of people in your community that will be petitioning the Governing Board for an increase in the Salary Schedule. Please go to the meeting to show your support. The Governing Board decides the budget for the District. The only way the budget can change is if the community gets involved.
