I recently found a Spanish class for my 3 year old. It is at CamelbackDesert School on Mondays @ 3:15 for a half an hour. The teacher was great!! I think that they also have a Mandarin class.

Do you speak Spanish at home? If not, it may be difficult to keep your little one interested in the language. Children learn a second language more efficiently by consistency and when they are around a second language more often ( 1/2 hour once a week is not enough).

For moms and dads who want a quick intro course to Spanish for themselves, MCC is offering a 5-week "Speedy Spanish" course that covers some fundamentals. One of our friends is teaching it, and she's quite good. True, it won't make you fluent in one day each week for five weeks, but it can get you started!
