Any suggestions for books for my 2nd grader? We're having a book fair at our school soon and I'd like to stock up on a few books for him for the summer. He's an intermediate reader - just starting some of the easier chapter books. Thanks!

Henry and Mudge for
Henry and Mudge for beginning chapter books. Nate The Great are good and Magic tree House series are one of my favorites. These are all chapter books for 2nd graders. The first is easist and the last series are more difficult.
Also, try The Pirate School
Also, try The Pirate School series. They're easy but good reads, perfect for that age.

The Magic Tree House series
The Magic Tree House series was a huge hit in our house. Curious George were good. Bernstain Bears are great with lessons too. Charlotts Web. If he just finished 2nd grade, my kids loved reading the Harry Potter series themselves.
