If you are looking for a great family activity, the Association for Supportive Child Care is hosting a fundraising event on May 17, 2008 at the Tempe Center for the Arts sure to delight both the young at age and at heart. The fun begins at 2:30 p.m. with a reception with a number of family activities including face painting, yo-yo demonstrations, bilingual readings of children's books, photo frame decorating, complimentary guest photos and yummy refreshments. A silent auction featuring themed baskets will be available as well…perfect for any gift-giving occasion or a treat to yourself.
At 4 p.m., guests will enjoy a Childsplay performance of the Judith Viorst classic, “Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day.” Unlike Alexander though, you will have no reason to be grumpy after you have experienced this event!
Please contact ASCC at 480-829-0500, ext. 102 to reserve your tickets. Tickets are $30 each or two for $50 or you can visit www.asccaz.org/playitsafe for further event details.
