I've wanted to do this event
I've wanted to do this event for the past two years (we have a company team), but soccer and birthday parties get in the way. And since we have two kiddies, we have to divide and conquer to make both matches. It's a rare occasion when we see both play. Topping that, April is my busiest month, behind January, for birthdays.
Maybe next year - unless my son goes into competitive play (right now he does Y soccer, which doesn't have teams for older kids) it should be easier for me to commit to an early walk and have my hubby take my daughter to her game.
Arizona Moms Editor Yvette Armendariz shares stories about raising her kids and tips for busy parents in her Time-starved (goddess) Mom blog. She and her husband are raising two children, ages 8 and 11.
