Okay, so I admit I watch the Bachelorette. It's one of those things I Tivo and watch after the kids are asleep then try to guess who she'll end up picking each week. Crazy, I know...it's just one of those things....there's nothing else on t.v. these days (summer time.) So...I find myself watching this program.
Does anyone else watch the show?? If so, was anyone surprised by her choice. A wonderful guy...but wow...I didn't see that coming. What do you all think about it??

Yes, I have to admit I was a bit surprised by her choice. Yes, I agree they both were wonderful guys, but I was shocked! Then to say her and the winner (oops, spaced his name) would remain friends with Jason for years to come! What? Are you serious? Jason is completely crushed, not too sure if that would be a good thing for him.
There is no way to be a perfect mother, but a million ways to be a good one!

I saw it too, as I cleaned up my bathroom cabinet...funny, I only watched three episodes - the first, one in the middle and this last one (oh and a little part of one before)...and I told my husband that I thought she would pick Jesse. She was intrigued by him from the start - he got a first impression rose that first show. The other guy seemed like the obvious choice, but I think she worried he would be too dull...plus even tho she said it didn't make a difference, he did have a kid and that puts enormous pressure on a relationship.

I am addicted to that show!
I am addicted to that show! And I have a feeling Jason will have NO PROBLEM finding a wife. What an amazing man and amazing dad! I would take him in a heartbeat! Makes me wonder if they'd use him as the next Bachelor!

I thought her choice was a good one for her. If she would have picked Jason, her life would have been mapped out already and she wasn't ready for that, I thought she explaine herself well and seems really sincere to Jason...poor guy, he deserves someone who is ready to settle down into the wife and mother role and give him the love and comittement he deserves.
mother of 4; wife of 1...so 5 children :) and I love it everyday!
Jesse, from Breckenridge,
Jesse, from Breckenridge, Co, I think. I watched a few episodes. I was a little surprised with her choice - after seeing them together, they seem very, very attached to one another.
I wonder what criteria they use when screening contestants? Some of the initial guys (including the one that kept tearing open/off his shirt) seem a little odd.
I'm sure that adds "spice" to reality shows.

I don't usually watch this
I don't usually watch this show (I usually just catch the finale), but this was the first time I actually watched it from beginning to end.
I have to say I was terribly surprised by her choice, especially since Jesse practically threw up when going to choose the ring. A guy who has that kind of reaction is NOT ready to get married. Quite frankly I think it's going to backfire on her. He's fairly immature, I mean he bumped fists with her whole family. They're not your snowboarding buddies dude, they're your future in-laws. And even though her father gave his blessing you could tell that he didn't particularly care for him. Even her grandmother was hoping she'd choose Jason.
I just think it's a shame that Jason introduced her to his son, I don't think that was a good idea. What he should have said was, I don't want to bring someone into my son's life who may not be a permanent fixture to avoid confusion.
I also think it was a load of bs that she let Jason get down on his knee when she KNEW she wasn't choosing him. And I don't for one moment buy the whole "I was caught up in the emotions" line she fed him on "After the Final Rose". If she was able to get caught up in emotions with him then she clearly doesn't know what she wants.
I believe that she DID lead Jeremy on. She had the most one on one dates with him, occasionally ignoring other guys to spend more time with him and then she just ditches him. Personally I think that's kind of rotten. I guess anything for ratings huh?
It is better to be hated for what you are, than to be loved for what you are not.
Was Jeremy the one whose
Was Jeremy the one whose parents had (both) died? If so, yeah, that really caught me as an odd choice...unless she was afraid that his family would be totally in their business because they were very protective of him.

I was totally shocked. They did some great editing because i thought Jason had it in the bag. Did you watch "After the Final Rose?" They certainly seem in love, so good for them!

I only watched the last episode after seeing so many plugs on other shows. I liked Jason better, but Jesse is such a free spirit. I think it was a better fit for her to go outside the box.
