Ok first of all I am an admitted reality tv junkie. I know it's not the popular thing but I'm a grown up, I can decide for myself what I like :) So last night I sat down to watch the new kid on the block "I Know My Kid's a Star". OH MY HEAVENS! I knew there were stage parents out there but WOW! Even I didn't expect this and I don't shock easily!
The premise of the show is that 10 kids and their parents move in to this house together in Hollywood and compete. The kids do regular audition stuff and the parents compete in how well they know the business and management things. Zowie! Some of the parents were kinda normal (for parents who would do this, I mean) but there are a few really scary people on that show.
Did anyone else see this? Or am I (as usual :P) the only crazy one?

Yes, I started to watch it for 15 minutes, then an hour later I finally went to bed and didn't fall asleep until 1:00 because i was so preoccupied with the show. I know exactly what your saying on the stage parents. WOW !!! is all I can say,and I don't shock easy either. I wanted to reach into the tv and just choke one of the moms who was sitting there rolling her eyes when the other children were performing. That was just wrong,you can be proud of your kid,but there is no reason to put down someone elses kid.I'm with you,I wouldn't be caught on that show either, my son was off school today,so he watched it with me,and said that he would never go on that,and I better not even consider trying out. I told him he has nothing to worry about. I'm glad there is a sane person who admittedly watched it too. :0) LOL
