Harkins Summer Movies

Happy2BMommy's picture

How amazing is the $7 deal from Harkins? I finally learned about it last summer, and we were quick to sign up this summer!

You pick any Harkins theatre you want to go to this summer for kids movies with your kiddos. Pick a day of the week.
You get tickets to 10 weeks of movies, all for $7/person.

For example, I'm going every Friday at 9:30 a.m. to the 101/Mayo.
For $21, my 2 kids and I all have 30 movie tickets to 10 different movies from the end of May through mid-August.

Yes, we'll miss a few with travel plans, but who cares? At that price, 70 CENTS PER MOVIE, how can you not buy tickets???!!!!!

It sells out on popular days....but I couldn't believe I hadn't heard of this sooner.

Does everyone know about this?

We did it last year, but

We did it last year, but this years movie lineup isn't age appropriate for my child this time around. Looks like they are more for school age kids and older. Maybe next year!

This is such a great deal.

This is such a great deal. We go to the Harkins at Christown and it usually runs Friday mornings (I think at 9:30) in the summer. Get some popcorn, watch the movie and relax in an air conditioned theater - it's a great way to spend part of a hot summer day.

Speaking of Harkins and

mouse_tales's picture

Speaking of Harkins and great deals, I want to mention that we have used the children's Playcenter and it is awesome! Sunday night seems to be a slow night and we have not had any troubles securing a reservation. They have very proactive security measures in place to protect your child from being released to the wrong person. They also provide you a "panic pager" incase your child needs help/reassurance, etc.

You pay $6 at the box office and then you show the ticket at the Playcenter desk. You can't even get a babysitter for that price.

Locations are limited. Visit http://www.harkinstheatres.com/Playcenter/Playcenter.aspx to find the location near you! Our visits have been to the Chandler Fashion location.

Another great one is the

Another great one is the summer movie deal at the dollar theatre in Tempe - Pollack Cinemas, I think. We've done that two summers.

If you really don't want to

karilouMomof2's picture

If you really don't want to fork over $7.00 or it sells out, you can still go at $2.00 a person usually. So if you find you only want to go to one show because of travel plans or camps you still might be able to.

Yes - they are the best ever! My son loves movies and last summer we did Harkins and Tempe Pollock. Which btw - Tempe Pollock had $1 popcorn on Tuesdays. Hope they have that again. A great way to stay indoors and enjoy the movies.
