This is huge for a lot of women I know. My husband is soooo happy that I'm going with my sister - he didn't care for the show. We haven't discussed details. I'm sure we'll do cosmos before and maybe pull out some of our favorite shows from our dvds (we both have the entire series on DVD).
I've heard of several special events catering to fans. I posted about a girls getaway that is going on at the Westin Kierland. Another moms user posted another event.
Do you guys have special plans?

No special plans but I can't
No special plans but I can't wait to see the movie! And my husband may go too. We "discovered" Sex & the City way past everyone else - as reruns - but really enjoy them.

No plans either - I'd be
No plans either - I'd be happy to make it to the theater to watch the movie before it leaves the big screen. It's hard to catch a movie these days with the baby. Have fun!!!

Um, not for me, it glorifies
Um, not for me, it glorifies immoral, permiscous behavior, something I feel this world has enough of in real life, why would I want to laugh at it on the big screen.
Now of course, I'm gonna get trashed for being moral and leaving this comment. Oh well just my opinion, and at least I don't justify adultry, I don't know how me feeling this way could really hurt anyone. Unless you feel that this kind of behavior on this movie and show is justifiable.
" just my Opinion"
The show did highlight
The show did highlight behaviors that I wouldn't do as a married woman. That said, I think many women loved the show because they were flawed and still we wanted these women to find true love.
I'm looking forward to seeing how Carrie's happy ending from the show turned out on the big screen.

I don't have any special
I don't have any special plans but I really want to see the movie. My in-laws happen to be visiting next week so maybe I can talk my husband into going to the movie with me. Or maybe I'll see if my mother in-law wants to go.

A friend and I are dressing
A friend and I are dressing up, going out for appetizers and then going to the movie. We get a night to be our old selves. We won't be behaving badly. We do have husbands and children now, so we don't want to seem like wild women on the prowl. But we do want to see our favorite girls. I loved Charlotte and Carrie! My friend thought Samantha was a hoot! Yes, not exactly morale women, but they are characters and we love them.
I love being a mom!
