If you're up on TV news, you know a writers strike is near. Here's the link to one of the stories. I'm just wondering, do you moms care? What if "Grey's Anatomy" runs out of new shows? Will it upset you or will you finally have time to read or sleep (since many of us TiVo anyway so that we spend time putting the kids to bed)?
I'm curious. :)

Although I am not hooked on
Although I am not hooked on t.v. I have to admit I would be a little bummed if early next year (as expected) we had no new shows running. I do Tivo all my programs, but I watch them when my son goes down for his afternoon nap, it my only 'me' time during the day that I get. So, I do look forward to the new programs weekly. I guess if the shows return to reruns I could begin reading my "before bedtime" books during the day instead.

We don't watch much TV, but
We don't watch much TV, but what we do watch (ok Tivoed most of the time) is Jay Leno. It will interesting to see what happens there. My understanding is shows like the Daily Show, David Letterman, Jay Leno, Saturday Night Live and such, would have the biggest impact. These are current events sorts of things that are effected the first :(

I'm only dreading all the reality tv that will come out of this.
I will say the writers
I will say the writers haven't helped Grey's Anatomy, so maybe a strike will somehow inspire better writing later.
