Did you Know there is a FREE museum inside the Arizona Capitol?

Recently, my husband and I were channel searching and came across a digital cable station called, ACTV (Arizona Capitol Television). I don't recall the cable number but the station was terrific. Not only had we never seen this station before but, we had never heard of it.

State Historian, Marshal Trimble was doing a story on the Capitol and discussed the History museum located on the first floor. We had no idea that there was a museum inside the Capitol, that it is open to the public Monday - Friday and...it's FREE!!!!!!!! Yet, another hidden piece of Arizona history, I had no idea existed...Did you?

My kids get out of school on the 22nd and I intend to take them to the Capitol museum the following week.

I had no idea about that channel - I did know about the museum but only because I have family that works down at the Capitol. I have been twice and there are some regular exhibits that are always there but they also have some that change periodically. While you are there, if the house and senate and not in session it is really cool to go look into those buildings and see where they hold their executive sessions. Could be a good experience for your kids.

I never knew about this

I never knew about this museum. Another summer thing to add to our "to do" list. And so great that it's free!
