Does anyone frequent the Glendale Aquatics Center at 56th Ave/Union Hills? I just love that place. It's like a mini water park. It's got a shallow kid pool area with a kids sized water slide and lots of spray toys and a zero depth entry for the real little ones. It's also got a mini lazy river with NO tube rental fee and 2 larger water slides for those 48" or taller and then it has a separate larger pool that is 5' + deep. It's a great set up the little ones can really have a good time in the kid play area and the parents can too. They have a nice locker room set up with no fees for lockers!! I don't know what the cost is for Glendale residents, but it's reasonable for non-residents with adults $6 and children $3. I would much rather go here than some big water park like Water World, Sun Splash, etc. much more quaint and affordable too. They also have a snack bar although I'm not sure what it consists of as we didn't go, but it looked like it had a pretty good variety!!

I love this place!!! And I agree about going here over the bigger water parks! My daughter isn't too keen on those because they are so busy and crazy and she's a little scared of the water stuff, but here she can relax and enjoy and we (together) can go for much less than it cost to see a movie! In fact next weekend we will be there!

We were there for the first
We were there for the first time this weekend. I hosted my daughter's 3rd birthday party there. The staff was great to work with! We did the party part upstairs in one of the rooms outside of the heat and then went down to a private party area. It was great!! The place was busy, but no means uncomfortable. My children are young and couldn't participate in the big slides, but they still had a great time. All of our guests seemed to have a great time too. We plan to go back a few more times this summer!! Can't beat the admission price!
