Yes, the big encore show is tonight. A few girls at my daughter's school were talking about going. Mine isn't this time. She's not upset by it, and that's a good thing.
We saw the show the first time around as reviewers. Julia loved it (only criticism was it sounded different from the album - oh, novice ears!) She especially liked the Jonas Brothers and the Miley Cyrus part of the set. Cooler songs. Mom agrees.
This time, she wanted to see Aly & AJ. Julia loves "Phil of the Future," which stars Aly. Julia also loves the girl band's album (I even like a few songs!) But I'm no longer a Hannah fan club member (I cancelled after the free 30 days with the purchase of her album), so I didn't buy tickets early when seats were available. And I didn't have time to stop my life to buy tickets for a show that ultimately would sell out in what seemed to be minutes.
A colleague of mine and his young daughter will review tonight's show. I can't offer the live version of Aly & AJ for my daughter, but I did take a few minutes to download three Aly & AJ videos off of iTunes as a surprise. It cost me $5, and she'll get to see it time and time again. I know she'll appreciate it.
OK, it's not the same as a concert memory, but my daughter is seven. I don't remember much from when I was seven, do you?

Bringing home music is so
Bringing home music is so much cheaper. Besides, it's a school night!
At 7, all I remember is getting stitches and the stegasaurus song.
