If you have a tween or teen in your household, you probably know who the Jonas Brothers are. And, if you don't mind going to Tuscon on a school night, you'll want to put Jan. 31 down on your calendar. That's when they kick off their tour at the Tucson Music Hall. Tickets go on sale Jan. 12.
Cost for tickets: $39.50 and $49.50. Get more info at www.livenation.com.
My daughter didn't know much about them three or four months ago...she had heard a few songs, but she hadn't really seen them....then she went crazy over them at the Hannah Montana concert in November.

I hope they come to Phoenix.
I hope they come to Phoenix. I'm sure my daughter and son would love to see them, but I don't know about the drive to Tucson on a school night...if it were a Friday, I think I would cave and go with the kids.
Anyway, for a quick fix, you can get Jonas Brothers videos on iTunes. We bought the HSM2 dvd and it had three free downloads...one was of the Jonas Brothers performing "Hold On" (which my kids really like)...other videos were Corbin Bleu and Vanessa Hudgens.
For those of you who don't
For those of you who don't get the moms newsletter, just a quick tip on getting close-up tickets...which go on sale Saturday, Jan. 12.
"If you want a close up view, you'll have to go to Tucson to buy your tickets. The first 20 rows, priced at $49.50, can only be bought at the tucson Music Hall Box Office. Wristbands will be handed out to folks 16 and older starting at 7:30 a.m. A random number of those wristbands will be drawn. Wristbands don't guarantee you'll get tickets."
The show begins at 7:30 p.m. Jan. 31 at the Tucson Music Hall. More info here.

I forgot to mention...while
I forgot to mention...while I didn't really write much about the Jonas Brothers in my Hannah Montana review -- this is it: Jonas Brothers joined Cyrus on stage during 'We Got the Party' and then had an encore of their own. They started the show with an energetic seven-song set that included their hits 'SOS' and 'Hold On.' Their encore, which gave Cyrus time to get out of her character and become herself, featured another favorite, 'Year 3000.'" -- they did put on a great show for their fans and made a few new ones. The performance didn't have the flash/stylings of Madonna...but that's not what your kids are coming for at a Jonas Brothers show.
Kids loved that the Jonas Brothers "talked" to them...you know, those shout out here and there, and that they played their "good" songs. And really, their music wasn't at all painful to listen. I can't say that about all music aimed at tweens. The boys are cute, too, which is why you'll see lots of tween and teen girls at the show.
