I know several families who love karaoke-ing together, and some moms who are die-hard concert addicts for mom time... What is the best music-oriented activity you remember participating in?
Some of my favorite memories are from when I was in high school and college, and they involve being in musicals, or being hired for orchestra work for several full gospel churches during Christmastime pageants.. And those singers! Whew!
More recently with my family, though, we went to a phenomenal live concert to see Al DiMeola (last year at a small venue,) and it blew all of us away. It recharged all our interest in playing music together, and even inspired our middle school aged child to practice guitar more.
I was in Choir in my school
I was in Choir in my school years for many of them. and i have some of the best memories from there. Alot of traveling and meeting people and having so much fun. My hubby (now)even joined the class just to be with me! oooohh. . .good times.
We went to Trans Siberian
We went to Trans Siberian Orchestra this year and they were incrediable! Great family show!

I went to the performing arts high school in Ohio........yes, it was pretty much like the show fame.
Every where you turned someone was dancing, singing, acting and you could here band instruments all through the school....it is a wonderful memory.....!
We did Hannah Montana
We did Hannah Montana together. Afterward, my daughter decided she would be a rock star before her run for president. Ronald Reagan was an actor first. :)
Because of the concert, we are looking at music lessons. My dad has been pushing singing lessons, but I think we'll try piano first.
