Indian Babies Dropped 50 Feet for Good Luck in Bizarre Ritual

I just read an article about how parents in India allow their infants to be dropped from the top of a building and onto a sheet (about 50 feet). This ritual is supposed to bring them good health.

It seems scary to me.

I saw this on the news too. Very scary. It made me wonder what those poor babies were thinking or what they were feeling. I know the thoughts out there are they won't remember, but somehow I would think you would.

This story makes me think they just might remember. My ex-husband's mother told me that when she was very pregnant with him she went on several big roller coasters. Then when he was an infant he'd startle and flail his arms anytime he went in an elevator or even being carried down steps. This didn't happen with her other child and I don't remember my babies doing that....
