J-Lo reality show?

cdoyle1113's picture

Have you heard about Jennifer Lopez (J Lo) new “reality” show? She wants to show people what it is like to be a working mother!!!
I’m sorry, but I know what it is like to be a working mother, I’ve been doing it since the week after my son was born.
Reality??? What is real about having a nanny for each child, a stylist, personal chief, trainer, chuffer, multi-million dollar nursery and everything you could ever need at your finger tips? And working? She does a 2 hour show a few times a week, not 40 hours 52 weeks a year!
Make a show about single mothers (or working mother in general) who work 40 hour work weeks, have to leave their children at child care for 8 hours, go home to cook and clean, all while keeping thier sanity and good hair!!

Now that’s a show I would watch! They can even ask me to appear on it LOL!

I have yet to hear about

I have yet to hear about JLO's reality show. Not something I will watch though. Your comment about single mothers made me recall when Tyra Banks switched places with a working mom for a day, a day and was like I dont know how you do it etc. She could not believe what being a mom entailed. Maybe you should proposition one of these networks for your own reality show ; )

It's funny to me...all of these stars having "reality" shows. It's not my reality. LOL!!

I too will pass on this one.

You can't call her a working

divaballerina's picture

You can't call her a working mom only for the fact that she has an entourage the size of a small army... Maybe if she did her thing and worked and ONLY she and Marc took care of the babies then I would watch but there will be nothing reality about what will be on that show... No thanks! I like JLo and I think she is very very talented and I love to see what designers she is wearing but I don't care to see her on my tv and I don't care about her family life.

Personally I know a lot of

Personally I know a lot of people that used to find JLo as an inappropriate role model for kids. I have not heard anything about the reality show, but I wouldn't judge her based on the fact that she is a celebrity. A lot of people tend to misquote her and other celebrities. True she does not have the life that most of us have (working 9 to 5, no nanny for each child), but I am interested to see what the show is based on. I would watch out of curiosity. Too bad I have no cable. lol...

I have heard about this, and

I have heard about this, and also how she is the mom of the year... are you for real? I would be woman of the year, and mom and the greatest person EVER if i had the resouces she had.

ON that note, congratulations to all the moms in the world that strugge every day to juggle everything and strive to be better mooms every day (you already are)
