Sad Story

azmommyof4's picture

A mom finds her two babies ages 4, and 6 dead in the trunk of her car. Can you imagine? How horrific. Unimagineable pain. The story made me think, most cars ( all newer cars) have a latch in the trunk with a glow in the dark handle. I am going to show my kids this tonight. I am also going to teach them that (God forbid) if they are ever locked in a trunk to pound on the trunk or try to kick out the tail light if the car had no latch. That is what we were taught in school if we ever abducted and thrown in a trunk. I cannot imagine what this mother is going through, my prayers for her.

This is exactly the kind of horrible stuff that I was referring to when I posted that everywhere you look there is always some horrible thing happening to kids. It makes me sick. So sad. My heart goes out to the family of these 2 children.

Yes, very sad and something

Yes, very sad and something I hate to think of what the mom is going through right now...

And very good idea - teaching the kids the latch and so on.

So sad, I can't even imagine

So sad, I can't even imagine what the parents are going through. Good tip about showing my kids how to get out of a trunk. We have an older car so we don't have the latch to pull to get out from the inside.

Hopefully, one day, the mom

Hopefully, one day, the mom may find comfort in the fact that her sad story may have saved several kids lives because their moms showed them the dangers of a trunk and what to do if stuck inside (like I did) after hearing her story.

This is such a tragic story.

This is such a tragic story. I pray that the mother is able to find peace in the future.
