Earth Hour - Will you be participating this Saturday 8-9 p.m.?

I was excited when I first read about Earth Hour about a month ago in the paper. This is a worldwide blackout is meant to demonstrate how global collaborative efforts can inspire positive change for the environment. I had already been thinking that it would be fun for the kids to experience an evening/night without any lights - just maybe the moonlight and candlelight. Just sitting and talking, enyoing the silence the stillness of the night. No tv no computer, no wii, no lights. Just like the olden days. Any way it is this Saturday, you can learn more here: Hope lots participate! And hope we do this more often.

I'm excited about this too! My 11 year old son was the one who read the article & told me about it. He's looking forward to it (even though it means no electronics Saturday night! Guess we'll just have to play board games by candlelight - hey, this could be a good thing...).
