My girlfriends and I are going to Vegas for a weekend. Most of us aren't gamblers, but would love to go dancing somewhere. Does anyone know Vegas who can make a recomendation. We are all happily married, so we aren't looking for a "What happens in Vegas" kind of place, but someplace that will play "good" dance music. We think of "good" music as stuff we danced to in college - late 80's - early 90's dance stuff. THANKS!

how come you're not taking husbands...it sounds like really fun but if you're happily married why are you trying to go do things single people do? I am 30 and married as well for 4 years now. vegas without my husband is out of the question. A trip to vegas all girls even though you dont have the wreckless mentality about it, you put yourself and your friends closer to temptation and risk your happy marriages.

I don't think there is anything wrong with going to Vegas without your husband. Is he ok with it? He should be if he loves and trusts you.
There are so many great restaurants and you can just go there and have cocktails. If you go to any of the big nightclubs, i.e. Pure, Ghost Bar, Rain, you will get hit on but that doesn't matter much. Heck you can go home and tell your hubby how lucky he is to have such a hot little ticket! You really should take in a Cirque du Soliel show. They are amazing. Have a fun, safe trip.

If we take the husbands we have to take the kids. If we leave them we have babysitters we don't have to worry about. Some of my best memories with my Dad were times when he was in charge of taking care of us. It's a win win for all of us.

Thanks. My girlfriends are awesome and we are all old school, we just like to get away and have fun together. Seriously no one would ever be allowed to do any hanky-panky, we know how good we've all got it. However we used to have some moves and like to see if we can still drop it like its hot (or whatever that phrase is :). One of the girls is 4 months pregnant, one is going through cancer treatment, the rest of us are Mom's who just want to have fun.
